In the middle, all of the major candidates to be considered for their parties nomination is listed. The vice president names would have been included with corresponding discussion. Also, the Constitutional Union and Southern Democratic Party nominees are present. The Abraham Lincoln background does not stand out any more than other candidates, seemed like a dark horse. There were also text articles which included the four major party platforms. One article which stands out is on Sam Houston, exalting his abilities. Lastly, a map of the US is included for geographical orientation mostly.
