Each member of the graduating class is given a piece of ivy to take upon their graduation to remember the connection to their alma mater. Upon the beginning of their education at Eureka College, students are given a piece of ivy to place in a basket to join into the community and then when they leave are given a sprig to keep. Mason values this item since it is a memento from her undergraduate commencement ceremony and it also serves as a reminder of the good times of her college years. Title A name given to the resource Rice Krispies Treat Marching Band Shako Description An account of the resource A Rice Krispies Treat made to resemble a marching band shako worn by members of the Pekin Community High School Marching Dragons. The treat is red, white, black (Pekin Community High School's colors) and is covered in fondant icing. It also has a plume made from a dowel rod, an unidentified black fabric, black and silver ribbons. The shako was used as a cake topper. One was given to each student who had a birthday during marching band camp week during the summer of 2015.
