This item is a Pokemon Card showing the character "Itomara", the Japanese version of "Spinarak". This came into Ben Agard's possession from an old best friend as a birthday gift. Agard is a Master's Student in UIS's history program focusing on Japanese history. Pokemon was how Ben became acquainted with Japanese history, adding sentimental value to this particular item. The frame that holds this card is handpainted and was apart of the gift.
